Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series Updates 2025 Schedule & Announces Sponsors
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (April 7, 2025)—With other series being rejuvenated, officials of the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP announced back in the winter months that the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics has been brought back to life after the series ran from 2002-2009.
The tour will kick off on Saturday June 14 at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, Ky. with a $7,500-to-win and $500-to-start event. The 2025 Champion for the nine-race tour will receive $2,500 while the “Shane Bailey Racing Rookie of the Year” driver will receive $500. Each night the MD3 “Hard Charger of the Race” will receive a $100 product certificate. The “Todd Steel Buildings Move of the Race” each race will receive a $50 entry fee credit at the next event while the “Wayne’s Auto Repair Hard Luck Award” will receive a $50 entry fee credit at the next event when applicable. The “Deatherage Racing Opticians Middleman” Award receives a $50 product certificate at each event.
Added events to the original 2025 schedule include a second stop to 191 Speedway in Campton, Ky. on Friday July 4th paying $5,000-to-win and Mountain Motor Speedway’s Walter “Peg” Combs Memorial on Friday June 20th paying $5,000-to-win.
All events run under UMP DIRTcar sanctioned rules including the Hoosier NLMT tires which will be released in a bulletin prior to each event. Some events will fall the same night as the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series and be points races for both tours.
