Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Adds “Late Model Dirt Rumble” at I-96 Speedway to 2025 Slate

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (April 7, 2025)—The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP is pleased to announce the addition of the Autism Awareness Night “Late Model Dirt Rumble” at the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich. on Friday May 23, 2025 to the schedule. This will mark the 26th-ever visit by the series and the first visit since August 30, 2019 when Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio was victorious. Schlenk and Jeep VanWormer of Pinconning, Mich. are the winningest drivers at I-96 Speedway with the series at four victories a piece.

After two rainouts to start the season and some schedule adjustments coming for the second-half of the season, the tour is pleased to announce the addition of a 35-lap, $7,500-to-win and $700-to-start event at the Larry Curtiss-owned track in Lake Odessa, Mich. which will open up a triple-header of action for the series on Friday May 23 at I-96 Speedway, Saturday May 24 at Butler Motor (Mich.) Speedway and Crystal Motor (Mich.) Speedway on Sunday May 25. Feature purses for the three-race weekend are in excess of $82,700. Since the I-96 Speedway event was already on the 2025 schedule, the series will honor their purse structure which totals $32,300 for the 22-car field which also boasts $5,000 for second-place and $350 for all non-qualifiers of the feature event.

In addition to the DIRTcar Late Models, the IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks & Midwest Compacts will all be in action. More information will come in the following weeks.
