The 12th Hangover Set for 411 Motor Speedway December 30 through January 1

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (December 7, 2020)- 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN is set to present the track’s 12th Annual Hangover event to close out the year and begin the new year on Thursday December 30, Friday December 31, and Saturday January 1, 2022.

On Thursday December 30, 411 Motor Speedway will begin the 12th Annual Hangover weekend with an Open Practice from Noon until 5:00 p.m. Pit passes for the Open Practice on Thursday December 30 will be $20, while grandstand admission is free. Pit gates/tier parking and general admission will open at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 30.

On-track racing activities will begin on Friday December 31 as 411 Motor Speedway will present the opening day of the 12th Annual Hangover event and racing action on Friday December 31 will see 604 Late Models race for $1,000 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $600 to win, Sportsman Late Models racing for $600 to win, Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $500 to win, Classics racing for $500 to win, and Front Wheel Drives (vtec VVT rules) racing for $500 to win. Activities on Friday December 31 will see the pit area and tier parking area open at 9:00 a.m. and the general admission area will open at 11:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will be at 12:30 p.m., followed immediately by hot laps and qualifying. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Friday December 31 in the general admission area will be $12, with children ages 12 and under $5. A pit pass and tier parking pass will be $30 per person, with children ages 12 and under $5.

The 12th Annual Hangover weekend will conclude on Saturday January 1, 2022 and will feature Super Late Models (CT Promotions/Valvoline Iron-Man Series-officiated) racing for $5,000 to win, along with Open Wheel Modifieds (CT Promotions/Brucebilt Iron-Man Series-officiated) racing for $1,200 to win. Joining the Super Late Models and Open Wheel Modifieds on the January 1 racing card will be the Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series 604 Late Models racing for $2,500 to win, along with the track’s 602 Late Models racing for $800 to win, Sportsman Late Models racing for $800 to win, and Front Wheel Drives (411 rules) racing for $500 to win. Activities at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday January 1 will see the pit area and tier parking area will open at 9:00 a.m., with the general admission area opening at 11:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will take place at 12:30 p.m., followed immediately by hot laps and qualifying. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday January 1 in the general admission area will be $20, with children ages 12 and under $5. Pit passes and tier parking passes are $35, with children ages 12 and under $5.

Officials from the Valvoline Iron-Man Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Super Late Model portion of the weekend’s racing events and will run under their rules and procedures. There will be no entry fee. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Left Rear/Fronts-Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48; Right Rear-Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600 or American Racer 48 or American Racer 56; (NO 29.0 size tires on the left rear and there is NO droop rule). Transponders for timing/scoring purposes MUST be rented from the track and mounted on the left front.

The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Open Wheel Modified portion of the program for the weekend and will be run under their rules and procedures. There will be no entry fee. The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Left Front, Right Front, and Left Rear- Hoosier M30S and American Racer Hard; Right Rear- Hoosier M30S, M60, Medium, and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. All tires may be siped anywhere on the car. No grooving of any tires. Transponders for timing/scoring purposes MUST be rented from the track and mounted on the right-rear.
