Lake Cumberland Classic at Lake Cumberland Speedway for Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series Moves to Saturday October 8

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (September 20, 2022)- Officials with the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series and Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY have mutually agreed to move the 27th Annual Lake Cumberland Classic presented by SPEDA (Somerset-Pulaski Economic Development Authority) from its original scheduled date of October 22 to its new date of Saturday October 8. The event was moved to avoid having a conflicting date with other area tracks.

The 27th Annual Lake Cumberland Classic presented by SPEDA at Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday October 8 will feature the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series competitors in a full program of practice, time trials, heat races, consy events, and a 40-lap main event that will pay $7,500 to win and $500 to start. Other divisions in action at Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday October 8 will be announced in the coming days.
