Mountain Motor Speedway Adds Walter “Peg” Combs Memorial for Friday June 20th

April 6, 2025—Due to other series obligations on Saturday August 23, officials from the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series and the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series have all mutually decided to cancel the August 23 “Mountain Heritage Classic” at Mountain Motor Speedway in Isom, Ky. However, the series and track will still be hosting an event in June.

The track and series are pleased to announce that on Friday June 20, the Annual Walter “Peg” Combs Memorial will return to Mountain Motor Speedway paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start in a co-sanctioned 30-lap feature event with the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics and the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series.

Former winners of the Walter “Peg” Combs Memorial include Jonathan Davenport, Josh Putnam & Tyler Arrington. More information will be released on this event in the coming weeks.
