American Late Model Iron-Man Series
Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Excited for Ike Moler & Butterball Memorial Events August 15-16
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (August 12, 2025)—Two historical Late Model events await the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP on August 15-16.
The tour will visit MRP (Moler) Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday August 15 for the 18th Annual “The Ike” Moler Memorial paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start the 30-lap event. This will mark the 10th ever series visit to the Larry & Michelle Pickelheimer-promoted track.
On Saturday August 16, the 38th Annual VP Racing Fuels Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial features a trio of series racing 59-laps for $12,059-to-win and $1,200-to-start in an event that boasts a feature purse in excess of $55,000 posted by Bill & Stacy Lupinos. In addition, each Heat Race winer will receive $1,000.
During last year’s exciting Ike Moler Memorial, Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky. took home the payday over Adam Stricker, Rusty Schlenk, Seth Daniels & Kirk Phillips. In a thrilling 2024 Butterball Wooldridge Memorial, Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn. claimed the $12,059 payday over Ricky Weiss, Camaron Marlar, Rusty Schlenk & Freddie Carpenter.
The tire rule for MRP Raceway Park will be Hoosier NLMT 2 & 3 on the fronts & the left rear with the Hoosier NLMT 2, 3 & 4 on the right rear only. The entry fee is $50 per car and any car not making the field of 22 receive $75. In addition, the Sport Mods will be racing for $600-to-win, Compacts will compete for $400-to-win, while the Legends & Crown Vics will race for $300-to-win. The pits open at 3:00 pm with hot laps slated for 7:00 pm. Adult general admission is $25 and adult pit passes are $45.
The tire rule for Richmond Raceway will be Hoosier NLMT 2 & 3 on the fronts & the left rear with the Hoosier NLMT 3 & 4 on the right rear only. The entry fee is $100 for this event. A highest-finishing Crate bonus has been posted by the track: $200, $100 & $50 for the top-three. In addition, the Modifieds will race for $1,259-to-win, the KDRA Super Stocks will race for $859-to-win and the Crown Vics will compete for $559-to-win. The pits open at 2:00 pm with hot laps set for 6:00 pm. Adult general admission is $30 and adult pit passes are $45.
