Kyle Moore Aces Attica Ambush with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series at Attica Raceway Park

ATTICA, OHIO (August 29, 2025)– The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP would kick off a Labor Day Weekend tripleheader of racing action with the Attica Ambush at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH on Friday evening and Kyle Moore of Mansfield, OH led all thirty laps of the main event and score the $5,000 payday.

The win by the 35-year-old Moore would be his first of the season with the series and his second career Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP victory and would come aboard the Tye Twarog owned Longhorn Chassis powered by a Malcuit Race Engine. The winner’s entry is sponsored by Kepling Flooring, Tye Twarog Performance, Midwest Paint, John’s Drain Service and Excavating, Joyride Transport, Smitley Towing, Wilson Family Realty (Robin Jakubick-Agent), The Shortstop, Coffman Corvette, Coffman Composites, R.L. Bond Septic Service, Henthorn Golf Carts, House of Speed, KB Septic Service, Fat Belly BBQ, Tru-Form Race Products, Platinum Designs, and Brett Bee Transmissions.

Kyle Moore would take the lead at the start of the Attica Ambush Valvoline A-Main, with Todd Brennan, Devin Shiels, Chad Finley, and Ryan Missler giving chase. Finley would get by Shiels for third on lap two and bring Missler along into the fourth position, shuffling Shiels back to fifth. Moore would hold a comfortable lead, while Finley would chase down Brennan and take second on lap eight. The only caution of the race appeared on lap nine when Shiels would loop his machine exiting turn two, with fourth place Missler also pulling to the infield with mechanical issues. The restart would see Moore maintain the top spot, with Brennan taking the second position from Finley, with Greg Oakes and Ryan Markham now fourth and fifth. Markham would take fourth from Oakes on lap ten, while Oakes would get the spot back a couple circuits later. Moore would again maintain the lead, with Brennan and Finley battling for second. Colten Burdette and Rusty Schlenk would both work by Markham on lap fifteen, as the front three would put some distance back to fourth place Oakes. Moore would begin to lap slower traffic on lap twenty-two. Moore would work traffic masterfully and put some distance on the field, while Finley would retake the runner-up slot on lap twenty-five, while Burdette would take fourth from Oakes one lap later on lap twenty-six. Moore would maintain control out front and take the checkered flag first, with Finley and Brennan completing the podium finishes. Burdette and Oakes completed the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers were Rusty Schlenk, Matt Irey, Ryan Markham, J.R. Gentry, and Colin Shipley.
