22nd Annual Iron-Man Classic Comes to Atomic Speedway Saturday September 20

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (September 16, 2025)—Five races remain on the 2025 Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series calendar. The first of those five begin this Saturday September 20 at Atomic Speedway in Waverly, Ohio for the 22nd Annual Iron-Man Classic and Hall of Fame Night. The Super Late Models will race 30 laps for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start.

On Saturday September 20, the pits will open at 2:00 pm, the grandstands will open at 4:00 pm, the drivers meeting is scheduled for 5:30 pm and hot laps are slated for 6:00 pm with racing action to follow. This will be the third visit of the season to Atomic Speedway as Josh Rice picked up the win on May 10 and Clint Keenan on August 23. Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio holds a 46-point lead over Colten Burdette in the championship point standings with Rod Conley sitting third, Clint Keenan fourth and Rob Anderzack fifth. Six through tenth in the standings include Miles Cook II, Seth Daniels, Jerry Bowersock, Adam Stricker and Josh Rice.

During last year’s thrilling Iron-Man Classic, Seth Daniels of Jackson, Ohio captured his first-career victory on the tour and event over Rod Conley, Ryan Missler, Caiden Black & David Webb. Michael Chilton of Salvisa, Ky. is the all-time winner at five victories.

The tire rule for Atomic Speedway on September 20 will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. Right Rear: NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50 for this event and tow money is $75 for any car not making the field of 22. The track is placing a top-3 steel block/525 engine bonus for this Saturday: 1-$500, 2-$300, 3-$200.
