American Late Model Iron-Man Series
Championship Finale Heads to Atomic Speedway for Night the Stars Come Out Weekend
WAVERLY, OHIO (October 21, 2025)—It all comes down to two events and a championship up for grabs for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP.
The tour will visit Atomic Speedway near Waverly, Ohio for the annual “Night the Stars Come out” weekend featuring two big paydays for both the Super Late Models & 410 Sprint Cars with purses for both classes in excess of $150,000. On Friday October 24, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will race 30 laps for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start. In addition, the 410 Sprints will race for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start. The pits will open at 2:00 pm, the grandstand gates open at 4:00 pm, the drivers meeting will take place at 5:30 pm with hot laps slated to roll out at 6:00 pm.
On Saturday October 25, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will race 30 laps for $15,000-to-win and $750-to-start. In addition, the 410 Sprints will race for $15,000-to-win and $750-to-start. Also, the Sport Mods will compete during the event. The pits will open at 12:00 pm, the grandstand gates open at 2:00 pm, the drivers meeting will take place at 3:00 pm with hot laps slated to roll out at 4:00 pm with racing to follow.
In the current point standings, Rusty Schlenk of McClure, Ohio holds a six-point lead over Colten Burdette, Rod Conley, Clint Keenan & Rob Anderzack. Drivers will take their best 80 percent of finishes at the end of the season towards the series championship and final standings.
In the three previous visits to Atomic Speedway, Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky. won back on May 10, Clint Keenan of Pataskala, Ohio was victorious on August 23 and Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. was the most recent winner of the 22nd Annual Iron-Man Classic on September 20 over Rusty Schlenk, Clint Keenan, R.J. Conley & Rod Conley.
The tire rule for Atomic Speedway on October 24 & 25 will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. Right Rear: NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The series entry fee is $50 for Friday and $100 for Saturday. The tow money is $75 for any car not making the field of 22 each night. The track is placing a top-3 steel block bonus for each night: 1-$250, 2-$150, 3-$100.
