Impact RaceGear 40 Next for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels at MRP Raceway Park on Friday June 14
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (June 9, 2024)- The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will visit MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH for the first time since 2021 on Friday June 14 for the Impact RaceGear 40 presented by Shane Bailey Racing, CT Promotions, and Valvoline. The “Impact RaceGear 40” main event will be forty laps in distance and pay $5,000 to win and $500 to start.
The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be at MRP Raceway Park on Friday June 14 and will be featured in a full program of Todd Steel Buildings “Building Speed” Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials presented by Brucebilt Performance Parts, Heat, STAKT Products B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $5,000 to win/$500 to start Impact RaceGear 40 Valvoline A-Main event. Other divisions in competition at MRP Raceway Park for the Impact RaceGear 40 on Friday June 14 will be the track’s Sport Mods ($600 to win), Compacts ($400 to win), Legends ($250 to win), and Crown Vics ($200 to win).
Activities at MRP Raceway Park for the Impact RaceGear 40 presented by Shane Bailey Racing, CT Promotions, and Valvoline on Friday June 14 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., with hot laps and time trials beginning at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices at MRP Raceway Park for the Impact RaceGear 40 on Friday June 14 in the general admission area will be $20 for adults with an adult pit pass being $40.
The Valvoline Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts: Hoosier NLMT 2 (LM20), Hoosier NLMT 3 (LM30); Rears: Hoosier NLMT 2 (LM20), Hoosier NLMT 3 (LM30) (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). The entry fee for the event is $50 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver not making the 22-car starting field will receive $75 tow money.
