The win by the 47-year-old Marlar would be his first of the season with the tour and his fourth career Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP victory. Mike Marlar would take the lead at the drop of the green flag on the Valvoline A-Main event, with Jason Jameson, Devin Moran, Josh Rice, and Lincoln Smith in pursuit. Marlar would set a rapid pace out front, while Colten Burdette would challenge Smith for fifth and take the position on lap three. Moran would begin to pressure Jameson for the runner-up spot and would grab the spot with a turn two slidejob on lap six. The first caution of the event would wave on lap nine for debris on the racing surface in turn one. The restart would see Marlar maintain the lead, with Moran, Jameson, Rice, and Burdette second through fifth. The caution would appear again on lap eleven when Burdette would spin exiting turn two and during the caution period, Burdette and Freddie Carpenter would pull to the infield with mechanical issues and be finished for the evening. Marlar again controlled the field on the restart, with Moran in second, while Rice would work past Jameson for the third position, and Clint Keenan now running fifth. Marlar and Moran would put some distance to back to Rice, while Tyler Carpenter would grab the fifth position away from Keenan on lap fourteen. The final caution of the event would appear on lap twenty when Caiden Black would slow on the backchute with a flat right rear tire and would go to the work area and replace it and return to action. Marlar again controlled the restart, with Moran, Rice, Jameson, and Carpenter giving chase. Jameson would immediately challenge Rice for the third position and would finally grab the spot on lap twenty-five. Marlar and Moran had distanced themselves from the field at this point and would begin to lap slower traffic on lap thirty. Moran would look under Marlar on multiple occasions, but couldn’t gain enough momentum to make a pass. Carpenter would run down Rice for the fourth position and would grab the position on lap thirty-three. Marlar would begin to slowly pull away from Moran in the closing laps of the contest and would score the victory, with Moran and Jameson completing the podium finishers. Carpenter and Rice would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers were Clint Keenan, Lincoln Smith, Zach Milbee, Michael Lake, and Andrew Yoder.
