Atomic Speedway Opens 30th Season for Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series on April 11

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (April 7, 2026)—The 30th Anniversary season opener for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP will be on Saturday April 11 at Atomic Speedway near Waverly, Ohio.

The 30-lap, $5,000-to-win ‘Sprint to Spring” event will mark the 23rd series visit to the southern Ohio facility. Joining the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will be the FAST on Dirt 410 Sprint Cars & Sport Mods. For tickets, log on to https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/3176/tickets/1511586 . Pit gates open at 2:00 pm with on-track activity beginning at 5:00 pm (depending on forecasted temperatures).

During the five visits to Atomic Speedway in 2025, Josh Rice, Clint Keenan, Colten Burdette and Mike Marlar (twice) visited victory lane with the series.

The tire rule for Atomic Speedway on April 11 will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. Right Rear: NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50 for this event and tow money is $75 for any car not making the field of 22. The track has also placed a top-3 Steel Block/525 Bonus for the top-three in the feature event: $250, $150, $100.
